Unable to download emails on my desktop using Outlook (have Windows XP
Professional on Desktop)...was working fine up until 2 days ago

No problem receiving the emails on my laptop (Windows XP Home) hooked up to
the same network as my desktop

Please help

Does your desktop account settings still have the option to leave a copy on the server checked?

If you use a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook disable this
integration and try again.

I am having the same problem exactly 2 days ago. I have to get my email thru
comcast directly but have no problem sending thru Outlook. Did you restart
as I did since there were updates from McAfee? I hope this is not too big a
problem since I live and breathe via email
