unable to delete Registry Key

I am tyring to delete a particular Resistry Key to remove the item from
ADD/Remove programs and have been unsucessfull. Any help would be greatly
appreciated

Logged on as an administrator?
Taken ownership of the registry key in question?
 
Thanks for the prompt reply. I am logged on as Administrator and after I
delete the key from the Registry and reboot the key is still there.
