unable to cutomize Search after installing third party software

i think t installed some software that change my search
engine in IE6.it always goes to google site and
customizing doesn't work either

You can change it by clicking the search icon to show the left panel
search area, then click the word Customize (apparently you need to go
online). A box will come up with a number of choices of search
engines.
