Somehow, my quick launch tool bar disappeared! I tried to
click on tool bar properties, tool bars, and then check
Quick Launch, but I get an error message of "unable to
create quick launch tool bar". No explanation, no help.
I looked under my computer, c drive, documents and
settings, then in my own folder, and indeed, my quick
launch folder is still there intact. Still, I am unable
to recreate my quick launch toolbar.

I also tried rebooting, etc. to no avail. Help, anyone?

Hi,
The Quicklaunch toolbar icons are stored in the folder as follows:

C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Quick Launch

Check if this folder exists or not. If this folder does not exist, then
create it , put the shortcuts there, and try enabling the quicklaunch again.
