Unable to Create and MDE database

I got this message the last time I tried to create an MDE. The help button
gave me a possible reason of why I wasn't able to, but didn't tell me how to
remedy this. Any suggestions?

Most common problem is that you're using Access 2002, Access 2003 or Access
2007, but your database hasn't been converted to the "newer" database format
associated with that version.
