Unable to copy text from email onto MS Word

I just realized I can no longer copy text from an email and paste it
on a word doc.

I use AT&T - MS Internet Explorer 7 and MS Office Word 2003

Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this.

Try highlighting it, then touch Ctrl + C

Then try it in word with Ctrl + V

Otherwise, I Don't know.

Word clears the Windows Clipboard.

If Word came installed as part of Works Suite then the Microsoft Works
Suite Add-in for Word (COM Add-in) is known to clear the contents of the
Windows Clipboard when Word starts.

Start Word first, then copy and paste.

Or follow the procedures here to remove the Works Suite add-in.

This applies to Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002 and Word 2003.

You will be way ahead to remove the Works Suite add-in, then you do not have
to remember to start Word first before copying.
