unable to connect to microsoft office online

a couple of weeks back had a virus in my computer so a technitian fixed it
but since then i'm unable to access internet, microsoft office, hotmail and
many other aplications, can anybody help me fix this problem, i dont have a
problen doing it from other computers.

This is not strictly a Word problem..
You would probably be better served by asking in a group related to you
operating system (such as Windows XP or Windows Vista).

I have the same problem. I have word 2007 and excel 2007. I can get to
Microsoft Office online from Excel but not from Word 2007. I have registered
my product and validated it. I have IE version 8 as my default browser.
What do I need to Word settings to get to Office Online?

Make sure that you activate Online Content:

Office button > Word Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings... >
Privacy Options (On the left side) > Check the appropriate option under the
"Privacy Options" section on the right.
