I've built a new PC with a new Intel 925 motherboard.

I'm unable to any XP operating system (I've tried several different ones
that I have around).

The error is "SXS.DLL: Syntax Error in monifest or policy file
"D:I386\asms\10100\MSFT\WINDOWS\GDIPLUS\GDIPLUS.MAN" on Line 4 A component's
file does not match componenet manifest.

Has anyone seen this kind of thing before - Is this to do with the fact that
I'm using a PCI-Express card?

You need to use a pristine clean, Windows XP installation CD
(no scratches) with either SP1 or SP2 slipstreamed.

Either one of the following utilities makes slipstreaming
(integrating) SP2 into Windows XP a breeze:

or

AutoStreamer 1.0.33 (preferred)
