Unable to close Windows Mail

Each and every time we try to close window mail (came with Vista basic) it
restarts.
A box comes up stating window mail is restarting.

Is there any fix?

Which antivirus program are you running? If it is McAfee or Norton
you will have to uninstall them since they are not compatible with
Windows Mail. For more information, see
http://get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas
especially the paragraph in the red box.

Norton Anitvirus.
Its a new Dell machine and came with Vistam Windows Mail and Nortons
Antivirus so I am a bit surprised it could be a conflict between them.

I checked the site and it must of changed as I cannot find a red box or any
reference to Nortone Antivirus.

One other thing is When we started the machine the Deleted Items Folders had
not been emptied. We tried again but no luck could only delete each email one
by one until the folder was empty.

it is connected?

Don't be surprised. It is all about money.
Dell include software on their PC's because
software suppliers pay them to do so.

Norton, and the like, pay Dell because
generally people don't like to change stuff
so when the trial period is up they'll pay up
rather than learn a new suite.
