Hello!
I'm trying to change my home page on IE6, Windows XP.
When clicking Internet Options, I receive a message that
states:
"operation cancelled due to restrictions placed on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator."
Well......... I am the only user of this home computer. I
also went to the control panel, attempting access that way
to Internet Options, but when I click on options, the area
to change the home page is grey and non-clickable.
I poked around security settings, specifically the
firewall that came with XP. Firewall is enabled, but I
don't see anything limiting the changing of my homepage.
Finally, I have Spybot protecting my computer, and thought
perhaps something there was limiting my ability to change
my homepage, but again, I couldn't find any options to
change.
Help??
Thanks bunches.
