Unable to access Java links in AOL or IE

I am no longer able to access any Java links in AOL or in
IE 6. I cannot figure out what happened. I point at the
window and a message on the lower bar identifies a Java
script on the bubble and notheing happens when I push the
enter key or the left mouse button. I enabled Java in my
internet options. What is next?
