Hi,
I hope this is the right place to post this...

I am trying to access default shares on a domain, but am unable to. I get
the network path not found error. The workstations I am trying to access are
XP Pro, and I'm trying to access them from other XP pro workstations.

File sharing is enabled, and file sharing is set as an allowed exception in
the firewalls at both remote and local sites. The shares can be accessed
from other local workstations at the remote site, but not from the
workstations at the main office.

I thought it could be username/password, but <Domain>\Administrator and
<Domain>\Domain Admins are part of the local administrators group on the
remote workstations.

The remote workstation administrator has a different password than the
workstation administrator at the main ofice, but another workstation at the
main office also has a different password, and I can access it.

The only other thing I can think of is that we're crossing a router to the
remote site, but that doesn't seem to fit either.

Any suggestions?

What do you receive if using net use \\remotexpipaddress?
