Unable to Access a computer on network.

Hi

I have two XP Pro Laptops ( A and B) and they are connected over a
common LAN. The problem is while I can access computer B from Computer
A, I am not able to do the reverse. I do not even get a response for a
"ping" on A. Any ideas - Is there a service I might have disabled that
is essential for this kind of need ?
