unable add user from the network

im a sharing a folder in a network and setting up permissions
when a try to add a user from the network, the locations button only shows
the local computer

why does not show the workgroup so i can chosse the usser form the network??

Enrique,

With workgroup authentication, you can only specify local accounts. You simply
have to use a local account that is duplicated on client (computer you're going
to log on to) and server (computer you're going to access thru the network),
with identical password on both.
