Am trying to get some information on this error.
It occurs frequently ( but not consistently ) during a reboot, usually at
the login prompt( which is frozen ).
After several minutes, the login proceeds into this error and a core dump.
The problem surfaced after installing a USB 2.0 card, an external USB 2
disk, and Alcohol 1.4 CD emulation software.
I have removed them all, yet the problem persists.
XP is up to date. Processor is an Athlon K7 1.8GHz.
