1) retailer used his copy XP Home with my Prod Key. He typed 1. number wrong.
But it ran for a year fine until Auto update "Genuine MS s/ware" loaded. I
changed prod key with repair install program. It said succesful but System
Properties screen still shows old number. Has it changed or not? Still wont
validate it .msg 'MS activation servers not workin'. Its been two days of
tryin tho. Is it me, im so green at this.
2)All I wanted was to bring in xp service pack 2. Now iv got another thing
happnin. When I dial up Int Explorer, 3 different C:\WINDOWS\sys32 screens
come up and a Symantec? web page that u cant go into. What is that?It closes
explorer down once and then you can use it when you go back in. Sorry for
ranting.
