Typing jumps around

I just upgraded to Vista on My Inspiron 6000 laptop and when I type my
letters jump around the page. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix
this?

After you upgraded, did you go to Dell's site and download drivers and
laptop software for Vista? If you didn't, then you need to do so. The
drivers should include the ones for your touchpad.

Also helps to be careful not to rest your palms on or near the touchpad,
sometimes brushing it can cause this behavior.
