Typing in Asian fonts in English OS

Hi:

I have an English version of XP OS and Office 2003, it can display Asian
fonts in IE and read Asian documents.

However, it cannot input Asian fonts and when I see the document name in
Windows Explorer, it is random character.

Does anyone know how to correct this or do I have to install something else.
