Typing chinese characters on a blog, etc

What software will let me type in chinese characters on someone's facebook
page or on a blog?

I have an old Twinbridge program but it didn't like working on anything
except WORD.

Also, I put on the chinese keyboard but it's still coming up in english when
I switch to that.
