What do I copy from my old laptop to my new one that will
allow me to type the first three letters of a name and the
remaining fills in. I believe that it is an ini file
however I could be wrong.

Thanks for the help

And you are wrong. It's a file whose type is ".nk2". The feature is
present in Outlook 2002 and 2003 and is enabled by clicking
Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options and checking the
"Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields". As you use the new
installation, the NK2 file will populate with the addresses you type.
