Hello ... I'm trying to make a schedule in excel and am having a problem
typing info at the bottom of the page. Only part of it is visibile. How can I
type so that the entire sentence appears?
Thanks in advance for your help

Donna,

Text can spill into the next cell if it's empty. And the next, etc. Look for something
(even a space character) in the cell that's stopping it. Also, make sure that the cell
containing the text isn't set for wrap text (Format - Cells - Alignment).

Note: Top-posting has been the norm here.
Some folks prefer bottom-posting.
But if you bottom-post to a reply that's
already top-posted, the thread gets messy.

Also note that XL cells can "only" handle 255 characters. Doesn't sound like
that's your problem ... but in case it is, you can obviously split long text
across more than one cell. :)

xl95 was the last version that only held 255 characters.

xl97-xl2003 holds 32k--about 1k will show up in the worksheet unless the user
does something special.

Oops ! Thanks for the correction. :)
I admit, I have never tried it ... and I also admit I can't imagine why
anyone would want to put that much text into a single spreadsheet cell. :)

Thanks again.
