i have xp home edition. while doing some video editing,
there was a serious crash, so i did a repair reinstall
using the reinstall disk. now when i boot up the
computer, the first screen that comes up gives me the
option of hitting F12 for a device startup, or hitting
delete, which then takes me to the log in page. that is my
first problem--how do i get rid of this annoying page
requiring me to choose between delete and F12.
second, once i do hit delete, i have to type my windows
password each time i boot up. before i did the windows
repair, the startup did not require a password, it was
taken care of automatically. how do i get around these
two issues?
