Two Outlook Express 6.0 questions...

Hi NewsGroup,

Two Outlook Express queries I'd like to ask;

1) Are there any 'add-ons' which give Outlook Express a calender like MS
Outlook? I don't use or really want to use MS Outlook as it is too feature
rich (over blown) for my needs, and a calender in OE would suffice...

2) Everytime I click the proverbial '...Contact us...' link on any web page,
I get an error (not really an error more of a message) stating that Internet
Explorer cannot find any default mail clients. I do have OE set as my
default mail client, this didn't happen when I used MS Outlook. Is there
somethig wrong on my half? Or doesn't IE and OE talk to each other all that
well when it comes to emailing? Even though I have MS Outlook already
installed (for other than personal usage reasons), in IE Tools | Internet
Options | Programs; E-mail dropdown list control, even though I keep it
unassigned to any value, I do not get an option to use OE, just MS
Outlook????????????????

Many thanks for any assistance...

Regards,

Here's a great site for information about Outlook Express:

Actually,

Use Palm's Desktop. It's very streamlined yet powerful. Can right click
your e-mail's in address book etc, and Outlook Express pops up. The program
is free of charge and has what it takes to give you a calendar function.
Won't be integrated, but will work nicely.

Thanks Guys,

I have to thus accept OE may never have a calender control one can attach to
it, but on my second query I have to say everything is running perfectly,
thanks once again guys...
