Two Operating Systems

I have had some problesm with ME and bought XP. For some
reason, the install wouldn't work unless I set up a
second operatings system. I now have ME and XP operating
systems on my computer.

In ADD/REMOVE I see I can uninstall XP, but don't see any
way to uninstall ME. I want to uninstall ME. Since it
doesn't show up in ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS, how can I
uninstall ME?

Remove Windows ME from the BOOT.INI file. See "How to Edit the
BOOT.INI File in Windows XP"
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=289022).
Restart to test the new settings. Windows XP should boot automatically
now. If so, you can now manually delete the Windows ME files from the
HDD.
