Found two unfamiliar .exe files on my system :

C:\Winnt\system32\Loadwc.exe
(autostarts upon boot-up; registry valuename is BrowserWebCheck)

C:\Winnt\Updreg.exe (does not autostart although is ound in a location of
the registry for autostarting programs; valuename has no alias)

Does anyone know anything about them? Should I delete them and their
registry entries?

You can learn what they are here:

Loadwc.exe ...

Updreg.exe ...

Loadwc.exe is an essential part of Internet Explorer - I suggest you
leave it there.

updreg.exe - I had a look around (google is your friend for this kind of
question) and it seems this process is a "reminder" from Creative Labs
to register their products.

All in all, both file are harmless and probably best left alone.
