Two Favorites lists - How to Combine them?

I don't know what caused it but somehow I developed two Favorites lists.
They
are not exactly the same; a couple of items (different ones) missing in
each.

My question is how to combine them into one list with a minimum of editing.
There must be 2 files somewhere but I haven't been able to find them.

Suggestions will be welcome.

All your favorites are located in a file: C:\Documents and Settings\[profile
name]\Favorites

The profile name is your username you use to logon to Windows.

All you need to do is copy any missing favorites (links) to this folder.
