When I startup my computer, I get two error messages. The
first has a red circle with a white X in it. Next to that
it says "Windows cannot find '
'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try
again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and
then click Search."
The second has a little yellow triangle with an
exclamation point in it. Next to that it says "Could not
load or run'
' specified in the registry. Make sure the file exists on
your computer or remove the reference to it in the
registry."
I recently deleted an AIM worm off of my computer. I
think that's what caused these changes. Please help me
eliminate these error messages.

Look at the "startup" tab in msconfig.
This is where you see the list of things windows
starts (or tries to start) at boot time.

Dave is right

It worked!!! Click your Start button, then click Run, misconfig shows up...run it....click the Start tab...then unclick the ones from the list that show up as errors when you reboot.

Then restart your computer and they should not come back. It worked for me.
Thanks Dave.
