Hi,
When I start a new e-mail message and select the "To" window I have two
"Contacts" to select from. The one "Contacts" it defaults to doesn't have
any of my e-mail addresses in my address book. The other "Contacts" does.

How can I get rid of the "Contacts" that doesn't show my e-mail addresses in
my e-mail addresses?

Thanks,
George

Open your Address Book (Ctrl+Shift+B).
Go to Tools | Options.
Under the parts that says, "When sending mail, check names using the
following order:" there will be two Contacts. You can highlight one and
then click Remove. The trick is making sure that you remove the correct
one.

One way that you can make sure you get the right one is, before doing the
above, right-click on your Contacts folder and choose Properties. Click on
the "Outlook Address Book" tab. Change the name of the address book to
something more distinctive like "mycontacts". Click OK. Then when you do
the above, there will be "mycontacts" and "contacts" in the window and you
will know which one to delete.

Hi Matt,

When I do that I only see "Accounts" and "Action" when I select "Tools" in
the address book.

What should I do now?

I have Office XP.

Thanks for your assistance!!!!

Sorry Matt,

I got it fixed. I wasn't in the main part of Outlook when I went to tools.

Thank you VERY MUCH Matt!!!!
