Two Adapters of a Router?

I have a Playstation 2 with a network adapter to conect it to the NET, i want to share the Broadband connection i got with my Playstaion 2 and PC, but which is better

Getting two Network adapters or geting a router!

The cheapest way is the two network adapters, but then i wouldnt know which is faster!

any ideas?

maby that would help, but my m8 has ps2 wired to the net through the router and he gets no lag what so ever, i am not sure what it would be like with 2network adapters and i cant see how u can actually to get it to work
but could u tell me what speeds u got if u went with 2network adapters

Yup, I agree with mucks - you'll save a lot of trouble with a router (some are pretty cheap too). Plus it means you won't have to have your PC always on, and you'll have expansion capabilities for the future
