Help! It appears that somehow Tweakui got corrupted. I
have uninstalled Tweakui and reinstalled it. The program
works fine, but yet every time I start Windows XP, it
gives me a dialog box that says, " Error loading
Tweakui.Cpl. The specifies module could not be found".
Clicking OK makes it go away. How can get rid of this
since it obviously has no impact on Tweakui operation.
Thanks for any help.

You are using the wrong TweakUI. The 1 for XP doesn't include a Control panel folder (.cpl)

I installed the "fix" posted on Kelly's site that puts a Tweakui Icon
in the control panel for XP and it caused the control panel to load
REAL SLOW. Kelly has good stuff but beware of that bugger!

I think you'll find that TweakUI for XP has NO Control Panel applet. How you
got one is beyond me.

What are you on about? I have no wish to do this. You seem to have missed
the point of the original post.

I don't want to! I was explaining there was no applet by default.

Okay, but if you don't add tweakui to the Control Panel, you won't be
one of the cool kids.
