TV out

Good evening,

I'm putting together a machine for watching movies/listening to music/whatnot that I'm trying to connect to my TV. Unfortunately, the TV out is being a little flaky. I'm running from the RCA out on my video card to an old VCR, which then goes to an older TV. So, everything loads up fine and dandy; I even see the WinXP flash screen. However, when Windows moves over to the login screen, I get nothing but horizontal lines running down the screen. I can login (I can hear the standard Windows startup souns run) and log off, but can't see anything. If I boot up in Safe Mode, things seem to work out all good and fine, other than the fact that I'm limited to doing essentially nothing. Any suggestions? This has been bothering my for quite a while. Thanks.

You need to set the resolution and refresh rate to something the TV can
handle.
