Hello, does anyone know how to turn on functions that have been turned off by
someone else? Explanation: My company is now using Word but they have
turned off the ability to go into the bullets and numbering and page setup
and others. I wondered if anyone knows how to get into the workings of Word
and turn them on so that I may use these features.

Thanx for any help!!

If your company is so controlling that they have eliminated functions like
this you are going to be hard pressed to keep any changes you make as the IT
nazis will simply change them back again by replacing (or worse sharing) the
normal.dot template and your registry entries. You need to take this up with
your IT support and remind them that they are there to assist the users not
to make things easy for themselves. Crippled software is not the best way to
improve productivity.

It could be, however, that the user is dealing with a specific document that
is protected for forms.
