Turning off the "predictive " text function

When I first got my computer and used it I got a massage about a function
that remebers what I type and keeps it in memory .. like when I use E-Bay or
Google and type "a" in search it lista all the things I have typed that start
with "a" .. how do I turn this function off ?

It is called AutoComplete and you can disable by doing the following:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced.
Click on Content Tab then AutoComplete Button and there uncheck the check
boxes there.
Also there is another option by clicking on Advanced Tab and scroll down to:
[ ] Use inline AutoComplete unchck this box.
Click [OK] to close the IE properties.
