turning off "My Recent Documents" in XP

Can anyone tell me how I can disable "My recent
documents" feature? Everytime I open a file, a picture,
or document, the "my recent document" folder appears and
collects the name of each file I've opened. I've
searched Help and I can't find out where you turn this
feature off. I'm running Windows XP.

Right-click the taskbar, then hit 'Properties'. Click the 'Start Menu' tab,
then the 'Customize' button. Now go to the 'Advanced' tab and at the bottom
is a "List my most recently opened documents" check box. Uncheck it.
