I just want to write email addresses on the worksheet cells. How can I
prevent this f...ng Excel from automatically changing them to mailto:
hyperlinks.

"I miss my Lotus"

Tools | Options | [Spelling] tab
then click the [Auto Correct Options] button
choose the [AutoFormat As You Type] tab and clear the check box next to
"Internet and network paths with hyperlinks" option.

If you use Excel 97-2000 you can start with a '
Or use Ctrl z after you hit enter
