Turn off ringing

I've recently set up Fax Console 5.1 on my PC.
Every time my landline phone rings, the PC also rings.
How can I turn the ringing off in Fax Console on my PC

You can disable the sound event for incoming calls. The sound will
be eliminated for all calls passing through the modem whether they
are intended for the fax or not.
 
Thanks for the reply Earl but I'm a bit simple.
Please can you guide me through the actual process.
 
To turn off sound ring, goto Control Panel -> Printers and
Faxes -> Fax -> right click and click Properties-> Traking tab -> Configure
sound settings

The other thing that you can do is to disable receiving of faxes. Goto Fax
Console -> Configuration Wizard -> goto 'Select Devices for receiving faxes'
and deselect the device which receives the faxes. Note: If you do this the
Fax software will not receive faxes.
