turn off file scan

Office Suite 2003. Is there any way to stop virus scanning of the documents
every time it opens. Excel also.
 
You'll need to look for and turn in off in your antivirus program. That's
what's doing it.

I've got AVG Free. I've turned off the Resident Shield. I have Norton turned
off. AVG still wants to scann files when opened.
