In Windows Explorer when I double click on a File.bmp I
want to go directly to my bitmap editor (Corel) but I go
into the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. My file type
association for bmp's is set to Corel Photo Paint - Not
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer! If I right-click on the
file the menu has "Preview" in bold as the first item
(therefore double-clicking launches preview not the
editor. How do I turn off Preview & go directly to the
editor?

Thanks All!

Solution #1:

a.. Run the Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE).
b.. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ SystemFileAssociations\ image\ ShellEx\
ContextMenuHandlers.
c.. Delete the ShellImagePreview key.
d.. Close the Registry Editor when you're done; the change will take
effect immediately.
