Turn off autocomplete in Access 2000

Hey gang

I am trying to enter data in a table and when the data in adjacent cells is sequential (1,2,3...) it autocompletes the next cell, which is causing big issues. How, please how, can I turn off this annoying "feature"?

You can't. This misfeature was introduced with 2000 and unaccountably
has not been removed.

The solutions is... don't enter data into your table. Enter it via a
Form; a continuous Form can be made to look very like a datasheet and
does not suffer this problem.
