Good Morning,

I'm trying to use MS Outlook 2000 from two different
computers at work for the same email address. The problem
is that one of the computers seems to keep clearing out
my inbox an then I cannot view my email from the other
computer. The other computer shows my Inbox as empty.

The goal that I would like to achieve is to be able to
access, compose and view my emails from both computers.
What do I need to do to solve the issue described above?

Are you using POP or Exchange?

Check both machines are set to deliver to microsoft
exchange server under delivery options of microsoft
exchange server.

To put it in an easy way.

Open control pannel and open mail/fax or mail depending on
your OS. click the delivery tab at the top and check BOTH
machines are set to Mailbox - Username.

This should ensure all email stays in the mailbox and
doesnt move to a pst file on one of the machines.

Don't quote me on this as I've never used Exchange, but I think what you
need to do is in each instance of Outlook set the message delivery to
Mailbox and not to Local Folder (Or something like that - I'm sure an MVP
will be along to correct me if I'm wrong....)

You're essentially correct.
