Trying to Update XP??

Running XP Pro SP2. Went to Start/Help and Support/Keep Your
Computer Up to Date. Sez that an Internet Connection is
Required. Of course, I am online using a DSL router. How can I
convince XP of this fact??

Try opening IE to any online page and then attempt to update again.

Try Start>Windows/Microsoft Update instead.
