trying to restore Normal.dot template

I downloaded some exercise pages to word and saved them to
print off later. Somehow, this replaced my Normal.dot
template (Blank Document) in word and I can;t get rid of
the downloaded pages. Everytime I start uo word this
document appears. Any advice would be appreciated.

Your question pertains to MS Office products, MS Word in particular. You would
be better served by posting to a more relevant newsgroup, such as:

delete the file, then start winword.exe to recreate it. Write protect the
file after it is re-generated.
