trying to install home xp service pack 2

I am wondering if the bugs are worked out of this. I
have been having problems installing it and my system has
all the specifications to intall it. Is it worth it to
have it? Please advise. I would also like to know if
people are having problems with this. monica

Some computers have problems with SP-2.
There are many possible causes partly because there is almost an
unlimited variety of computer configurations.
SP-2 is the same today as the day it was released and also will be the
same next year.
If you post details of the problems you had, someone may be able to
help you with them.

Most issues are prevented by ensuring the computer is free of viruses,
spyware and other malware.
Prepare your computer with the Service Pack Installation Checklist:

I have installed SP2 on 4 computers at home and we have had no real problems.
The only initial difficulty was trying to log on to one of our bank's web
pages. We had to disable the pop-ups to allow us to get to the log-on page.
Of course you can tell the pop-up firewall to allow access to individual
sites.
