trying to install a game i have and it says that it is already install on a
user account on the computer but the user account was deleted along time
ago,how do i get around that

Hi Shaun,

Ask the game vendor. What it means is that something originally installed is
still there. Many distributors of free trial software and shareware use this
technique so that there program isn't simply uninstalled and reinstalled
when the trial period is up to avoid paying for it. Not saying you're doing
this, but you need to check with the program vendor to see where the check
was placed and how to properly remove it.

Did you uninstall the game from the user before removing the user?
Did you remove the user's profile when you removed the user?
Is the game showing up in add/remove programs if you sign in with admin
privileges?
If you can't install it, and can't uninstall it, the "easy way" around it is
to reinstall the operating system.
Unless the company that made the game can tell you another simple fix, the
other way around would be to edit the registry, which is not recommended
unless you know what you're doing.
