Trying to find setting for bass

I just rec'd my new Win 2000 at work, put in my CD into
the player, and I'm trying to adjust the sound, which is
kind of tinny. How do I find "Bass?" I want to give it a
deeper sound, less treble, but I can't find where those
settings are. Thanks.

What loudspeakers are you using ? If at work you only have the internal PC
speaker .... good luck !

Depends also what soundcard software you have - Creative have a mixer where
you can alter the trebble/bass settings. What's yours ?

Is this on Windows 2000 or XP? IIRC, SRS WOW effects (aka Bass controls)
are a feature of WMP9 for XP only.
