I purchased a Dell 4300 P-4 at a garage sale for $60. I didn't get the
Windows XP Home CD. There is some pretty good other software I would like to
keep.
The previous owners messed up the User accounts. There is only one user,
Robert, the Administrator, according to the Control Panel/Users.
When I scroll thru Documents and Setting, there was apparently a previous
user, Matthew. When I try to delete Matthew's files I get an error message
that I can't delete system files. There must be another way to delete Matthew
and related files from this PC. I can't figure it out, although I guess it
can be done from the registry.
Is there any reason to believe that some of the programs would also be
deleted along with Matthew's account?
