Hello

Windows XP, Office 2003

I'm writing a thesis.
I've written foot notes, when cursor is in a footnote, I insert a link
to a bookmark (that is already somewhere in the document).
It's created fine but, there are 2 problems :
- I cannot access to the refresh option in the right click menu
- The link does not work and send me at the very beginning of the
document

thank for your help

Julien

you cannot put an "active" hyperlink the the "footer" of a word document

BUT what you can do, is create a text box (without border lines) and place
this on the "footer area"... this box can contain your hyperlin, and you can
<CTRL>+click it to go to that link

You should post to a Word newsgroup, if that's the program you're using.
Here is a list of MS public newsgroups. http://aumha.org/nntp.htm

This newsgroup is about the XP operating system.
