I had Windows ME, and never had as much trouble with it as am having with
Windows XP. I want to uninstall it, but when I try it sends me errors. It
allows me to go through the motions but when I think it is going to allow me
uninstall, it shows me Fdisk, and when I follow inst. then it says that there
is not enough disk space.
Can someone please help me? I have even tried to system restore. And it does
the same thing it won't let me do that either. HELP!

What are you planning to replace it with? Why can't you simply insert and
boot with the OS disk you are wanting to replace XP with and reformat the
drive?

The normal way to "uninstall" any operating system is to format
the hard drive and install a new OS of your choice.

Only if you performed an upgrade from Win98/Me, elected to backup
the old system files, and didn't convert the partition to NTFS, can
you then boot into Safe Mode and click Start > Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs. All of these conditions must be met for the
uninstall option to be available.
