Trusted Operating Systems

It is my understanding that Windows 2000 is considered
a "trusted operating system."

Is XP also a "trusted O/S"?

If I am catch what you refer to, there are a couple
recognized review and certification processes into
which operating system vendors may submit system
configurations for testing and review. These are both
US and European. One of these labels the system as
a trusted system.
Perhaps this is what you ask about ?
If so, the validation process is a long affair. If I recall
correctly it too W2k a couple years to pass through the
testing review. I have not heard of XP having yet finished.
Also, you should take note that it is a configuration of the
operating system that is validated, not all possible config
of the OS.
