troubleshoot help.programs shutting down

IE and Outlook Express constantly get error encounter
problem must shut down..send report to microsoft,
sometimes will refer me to symantec website for help. I am
running antispam 2004 program and internet security
program. no problems untill the antispam program was on
for about a month..symantec cannot solve problem..they
cannot understand the explanation of circumstances so they
have no solutions. i can reboot and it will go away for
awhile. once it closes program with error problem you
cannot open it again without getting error msg..untill you
reboot..running xp os.. Help..
